Win the Male Vote

“Whoever wins the male vote, wins the election”

Male voters have become the new “power demographic,” according to commentator Wendy McElroy. She explains, “For decades now, prominent voices of political correctness, which is now called social justice, have blamed men as a gender class for a long slate of social wrongs.” This is true in both the United States and in other countries, as well.

The Pew Research Center reports that 55% of men voted for Trump, while 42% supported Harris, giving a 13-point edge for Trump among male voters.

From 2020 to 2024, 4.5 million men switched their vote from Democratic to Republican, handing presidential candidate Donald Trump a historic victory. This shift was evident among all major racial and ethnic groups:

  • Asians: 6-point increase
  • Blacks: 8-point increase
  • Latinos: 12-point increase
  • Whites: 4-point increase

This page is designed to assist candidates of all political persuasions who seek to gain the support of male voters at the local, state, or national levels.

Strategy

  • Emphasize outreach to men, especially ages 18-34 years.
  • Sponsor voter registration drives to reach unregistered male voters.
  • Engage in outreach to female voters, and highlight how helping men will also benefit women. Example: Men who live longer will be able to assist their aging wives to avoid being sent to a nursing home.

Messaging

  • To connect with fathers, set up a website page titled, “Parental Rights.”
  • Highlight how men are being ignored and harmed by legacy media narratives.
  • Authenticity: Many young men are skeptical of traditional ads and value genuine content.
  • Rely on media channels widely used by young men, e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, and podcasts.

Countering False Claims

Respond to opponents who make false claims:

  • “Men are abusers” FACT: According to the Centers for Disease Control, women are more likely to be domestic abusers than men. there were 6.5 million male victims and 5.6 million female victims of physical domestic violence.
  • “Shared parenting will put children at greater risk of child abuse.” FACT: The opposite is true. Children are at far greater risk of being abused by single mothers.

When an opponent makes an accusation that seems exaggerated or implausible, simply ask the person to provide the source of the claim to your campaign assistant.

Twelve Areas of Male Disparity

Candidates need to understand that men are lagging behind women in 12 areas:

  1. Education
  2. Health
  3. Boy crisis
  4. False allegations of abuse
  5. Victims of violence
  6. Equal shared parenting
  7. Homelessness
  8. Treatment by the criminal system
  9. Victims of domestic violence
  10. Workplace deaths and injuries
  11. Adoption and reproductive rights
  12. Negative media portrayals

Despite the fact that men face major disparities in these 12 areas, some groups inexplicably accuse men of engaging in the “patriarchal oppression” of women.
