What is the Domestic Violence Legislative Project?
The Violence Against Women Act provides grants to state and local law-enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and courts to establish and enforce domestic violence laws and policies. But there is a growing belief that many of these policies are harmful to victims and give rise to false allegations.
The SAVE Domestic Violence Legislative Project (DVLP) is a growing network of advocates who are working to establish laws and policies that protect victims, safeguard families, and respect due process. The DVLP is currently operational in the following states; add your state today!
- California
- Colorado
