National Survey on VAWA Reform

The SAVE Special Report, An Assault Upon our Civil Rights, documents how domestic violence laws infringe on the rights of millions of Americans. And civil rights expert Wendy Kaminer deplores how federal sexual assault policies have become rooted in an “authoritarian impulse“. 

Based on these concerns, a national survey of registered voters finds a strong majority of persons favors reforming the Violence Against Women Act:

  • Stop waste and fraud – 69.5%
  • Stop discrimination – 65.9%
  • Stop false allegations – 63.5%
