Dear Friends,
IVAWApinkThe International Violence Against Women Act (I-VAWA) was introduced in Congress recently. I-VAWA is deeply flawed because it assumes that all abuse is male-on-female.

The Partner Abuse State of Knowledge Project (PASK) found that men and women in 85 different countries were equally likely to be abuse perpetrators.(1) They also found that LGBT couples were at increased risk of domestic violence.(2)

Yet, what do you know, I-VAWA ignores men abused by women and LGBT victims. And I-VAWA disregards female perpetrators.

Sign the Petition. Tell Congress: “Don’t Export Discrimination Against Male and LGBT Victims of Domestic Violence!”

Thank you!
