JWI Seeks Articles on DV Coalition-Building
Jewish Women International is accepting submissions for its e-newsletter, Domestic Violence Community News. The newsletter will be sent mid-June to more than 4,500 individuals and organizations worldwide who are interested in learning about current trends, advocacy initiatives and program ideas in domestic violence prevention.
The newsletter is a collaborative effort of domestic violence programs, advocates and friends who share their work, ideas and resources by supplying brief articles, tips and information through this venue. With this issue, we are revising our format and our submission process, and each issue will focus on a specific topic. Our June issue will be on the topic of coalition building and sharing.
Please send in your articles of approximately 200 words about how you build coalitions within your communities, and how you share among these coalitions to help further your work. In addition, we are seeking submissions of personal stories and short listings of programs, resources and events.
Submit your contributions for the newsletter at www.jwi.org/dvsubmissions ASAP but by Friday, June 3rd at the latest. JWI reserves the right to edit all submissions. Submission does not guarantee inclusion, though we will try to include as many submissions as possible. If you have any questions, please e-mail Ann Rose Greenberg at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to receiving your articles and thank you in advance for your contributions to the e-newsletter.
