Woman arrested in domestic with knife

Authorities arrested a 32-year-old Ukiah woman who allegedly hit her boyfriend, threatened him with a knife and bit him when he tried to leave Tuesday night, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported…

…Restel allegedly punched and slapped Cassells several times in his head and face area, leaving a small cut over his right eye. She allegedly brandished a 6-inch kitchen knife at Cassells when he tried to leave, threatening to cut him if he left.

Cassells took away the knife from Restel, according to the MCSO. Restel allegedly bit Cassells’ lower leg and both arms as he again tried to leave the home, leaving reddish bite marks.

Deputies arrested Restel on suspicion of domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon. She was booked at the Mendocino County Jail under $30,000 bail.

Cassells refused medical treatment for his injuries, the MCSO stated.
