An alleged domestic violence victim in Corona, CA collapsed today while police were questioning him, then later died. No word on the extent of his injuries or if an ambulance had already been called.
Riverside County Sheriff – Jurupa Valley Sgt. Todd Torrenti said deputies arrived at a home in the 2500 block of Reservoir Drive in Norco at 3:32 a.m. regarding a domestic violence call. While deputies were questioning the victim, identified as Robert Lopez, he suddenly collapsed and became unresponsive.
Torrenti said Lopez was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
