Jewish Women International is preparing for Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) in October, and is accepting submissions for its e-newsletter, Domestic Abuse in the Jewish Community. The newsletter, which will be sent in mid-September to more than 4,500 individuals and organizations worldwide who are interested in learning about current trends, advocacy initiatives and program ideas in domestic violence prevention. It will feature articles and stories about programs that are being run in honor and recognition of DVAM.
The newsletter is a collaborative effort of Jewish domestic violence programs, advocates and friends who share their work, ideas and resources by supplying brief articles, tips and information with colleagues through this venue. The newsletter will also include summaries and links to news articles and other related information of general interest.
Send your contributions for the newsletter to Ann Rose Greenberg, e-newsletter editor, at email@example.com as soon as possible, but by Tuesday, August 31st at the latest. Please put the title of your article in the Subject line of your e-mail. JWI reserves the right to edit all submissions. Submission does not guarantee inclusion, though we will try to include as many submissions as possible.
